Had a kickass interview with the local daily in Casa Grande, with photos (will post when able, thanks again for bailing, Lib)
Notes from the past week include:
The Establishment likes, and wants, their vets disabled, drugged and quiet. Poor shmucks like us "cold war" vets don't count. Had a very nasty pair of old women tell me that "they are just fine, if you are in distress it is your own fault"
Basically if you are not a disabled, fucked up vet, you do not count. Did I mention the radio interview?
Folks I need DONATIONS so badly! The desert is vast, and there is not much opportunity to "make money"...also of interest is that it is ILLEGAL to carry an UNLOADED fire arm in AZ...seems cops are not allowed to shooot folks with unloaded weapons.
The question is, how do they know whether or not the gun is loaded? And if it is unloaded, does that mean you are "unarmed"?
Folks are nice here though, people are giving me money and buying me drinks... it DOES make it easier to walk through 20 miles of beautiful (albeit hot as fuck) desert with a little buzz on....
