Vetfest San Diego 2014
1.20.14 MLK Day
VETFEST is an independent project of Occupy Veterans of San Francisco and the Veterans for Peace Nomad Chapter to support the “March Across America”, an effort to build community solidarity in coping with social justice issues and rehabilitating environmental damage through community service activism.
If you or a loved one has ever served in the Armed Forces, or if you consider yourself a “vet friendly” business, please consider attending the VetFest as a vendor.
If you are unable or unwilling to donate your time at the event to promote your business or conduct outreach for your cause, come anyways, as a participant in this FREE EVENT will feature food, music, art, raffles, information booths and possibly, a keg or two of some craft brew. Family Friendly Media Event. Free Advertising. Good Cause. Got it.
VetFest as a vendor. There is no fee, and the event is free.
Local veteran activists and artists will be discussing what we can do as communities to help our homeless veterans, and discuss ways of pressuring Government to alleviate the twin crisises of PTSD and the ongoing warfare that results in the wasteful spending of tax payer money that produces so much tension in our neighbor hoods and personal lives.
If you would like to be “able to table” or otherwise contribute your time or services, please Visit the websites below to check out the venue and the March Across America.
