After leaving Don, I went back to Scotts' for a day, then stayed with some of the Gainesville Occupiers at their compound in Gainesville. I helped out with their efforts to relocate some of the homeless campers closer to the Grace Shelter set to open next month. I got my bike in order, and had the netbook and Canon donated to me, as well as got to smoke a little grass. It was nice, the G-Ville Occupy is doing good work.
My next host was Nick, one of Scotts' buddies, and the man that picked me up from the jail. He and I did some yard work for a day or so, then I went BACK to Scotts' for an interview for the Gainesville Sun.
Back to Nicks', then on the 12th of July, he gave me a ride to Baldwin, and from there I spent the day riding through mid-day/early evening showers until I made it to Callahan. The good folks at KELLY RV PARK (north end of town off the 301 hwy) donated a campsite to me for the night.
As of this writing, I am very hungry, there are no services in town such as feeds or shelters, and I am waiting for my next contact to call me.
We are scheduled to leave for Ashville on the 19th or 20th.
